Run Invoke-AzureScout with no parameters for a guided wizard, or drive it with switches: by default it inventories tenant-wide Azure ARM resources and produces the live React, Json, and JsonEvidence outputs; opt into Entra ID collection with -Scope All; add -Assessment to run a read-only CAF/WAF assessment. Detailed run logs capture debug and verbose diagnostics without adding console noise. See everything. Own your cloud. (Requires PowerShell 7 on PowerShell Core.)

Release Notes

v3.12.0 - Less waiting, same evidence. Category-filtered inventory runs now derive a conservative extraction plan from the collector manifests and filter Resource Graph server-side while All, unknown, and assessment-backed runs retain full dependency coverage. Combined runs reuse completed security/policy sweep data instead of repeating Defender and policy calls. Operational enrichment caches Recovery Services vaults per subscription, protected items per vault, and storage context per subscription. The ARM REST sweep follows nextLink, retries only transient 408/429/5xx responses, and removes unconditional success-path sleeps. Deterministic call-count and compatibility tests preserve schemas, ordering, successful-empty/unavailable semantics, and offline zero-network behavior. AB#7279.
