Run Invoke-AzureScout with no parameters for a guided wizard, or drive it with switches: by default it inventories Azure resources, Entra ID, and identity objects (Excel, JSON, Markdown, AsciiDoc); add -Assessment and it runs a read-only CAF/WAF landing-zone assessment, scoring the tenant against Cloud Adoption Framework design areas and Well-Architected pillars and producing Power BI, self-contained HTML, executive PowerPoint, and JSON/Excel evidence. See everything. Own your cloud. (Requires PowerShell 7 on PowerShell Core.)

Release Notes

v3.5.0 - The report is a product, not a page. The React report becomes a multi-page application driven by the run's own data: an Overview landing with collection provenance, KPI row, menu tiles and assessment gauges; Inventory & audit rebuilt on the documented 18-category taxonomy as a blade view - the left menu selects, the right pane shows only that selection - with every collector listed including the ones that found nothing (a dimmed zero and an explicit absence statement), per-category item tables that filter on any column and sort on any header, a tenant-structure blade drawing the management-group hierarchy, audit callouts, and a Cost optimization blade carrying the whole cost story: the quantified opportunity with its arithmetic shown, every cost check with a link to its fix, Advisor cost recommendations, FinOps datasets with the reason they are empty, and cleanup items. Assessments get a landing page and one page per assessment holding the complete conformance register: every check listed - met, not met and manual alike - a gap block for every Not-met (current configuration at resource grain, why it matters, numbered fix steps, and a per-check Microsoft Learn link instead of one pillar page for a whole prefix), the manual checks as a review agenda with their questions, and a closing What's-next section whose actions link back to their fix blocks with owner and window. A Diagrams page renders the management-group hierarchy, virtual networks with per-subnet IP utilization, estate distribution and gaps-by-area as inline SVG with contextual KPIs, click-through to the underlying data, and a full-screen overlay with zoom and pan. Executive/Consultant/Data become a depth toggle, a theme toggle adds a light enterprise look, and exports add Markdown and JSON alongside CSV and print. Conformance clause R-04 is now enforced for real: the renderer no longer re-invokes the scoring engine for per-assessment slices - area buckets are tallied inline from the already-scored findings with the same visible arithmetic. The docs state plainly that all other assessment report formats remain on hold; the inventory pipeline's data exports are unaffected. v3.3.4 - One report, and it is the deliverable: six parallel renderers were each found weak in a different way by a real multi-tenant read-through, so the React single-page report became the product deliverable and every other rendered format went on hold, with held formats warning and skipping rather than failing, and a link-rot check (scripts/Test-ScoutGuidanceLinks.ps1) auditing every cited Learn URL. See CHANGELOG.md for the full history.
