The xDhcpServer module is a part of the Windows PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) Resource Kit, which is a collection of DSC Resources produced by the PowerShell Team. This module contains the resources:

> xDhcpServerScope, which sets a scope for consecutive range of possible IP addresses that the DHCP server can lease to clients on a subnet.

> xDhcp
The xDhcpServer module is a part of the Windows PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) Resource Kit, which is a collection of DSC Resources produced by the PowerShell Team. This module contains the resources:

> xDhcpServerScope, which sets a scope for consecutive range of possible IP addresses that the DHCP server can lease to clients on a subnet.

> xDhcpServerReservation, which set lease assignments used to ensure that a specified client on a subnet can always use the same IP address

> xDhcpServerOptions, which currently supports setting DNS domain and DNS Server IP Address options at a DHCP server scope level.


All of the resources in the DSC Resource Kit are provided AS IS, and are not supported through any Microsoft standard support program or service. The "x" in xDhcpServer stands for experimental , which means that these resources will be fix forward and monitored by the module owner(s).

To install xDhcpServer, run the following command in the PowerShell prompt in Administrator mode
