Zstandard (zstd) compression as PowerShell cmdlets, with libzstd 1.5.7, the reference implementation, compiled into the module. Compress-Zstd compresses files, or the bytes piped to it, each into one zstd frame that carries a content checksum, at levels 1 to 22 and on up to 256 worker threads. Expand-Zstd expands every frame of a file or of piped bytes, and refuses data that is truncated, fails its checksum or names another dictionary. New-ZstdDictionary trains a dictionary from sample files, which both other cmdlets take, and -MaxMemory bounds everything a compression or an expansion commits. Bound directly to Rust with PoWerRuSt (pwrs), Rust bindings for writing PowerShell binary modules in the spirit of PyO3: the cmdlets are the library, not a wrapper over a command line. Windows x64 and Arm64 in one module, on PowerShell 7.4 or later and Windows PowerShell 5.1, with no Visual C++ Redistributable needed.
