Each instance in the fleet maintains server processes as specified in the runtime configuration, launching new ones as existing processes end. Each instance regularly checks for an updated runtime configuration makes adjustments as called for. The runtime configuration enables the instances in a fleet to run multiple processes simultaneously. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-alias.html#cfn-gamelift-alias-routingstrategy UpdateType: Mutable Type: RoutingStrategy .PARAMETER DeletionPolicy With the DeletionPolicy attribute you can preserve or (in some cases) backup a resource when its stack is deleted. You specify a DeletionPolicy attribute for each resource that you want to control. If a resource has no DeletionPolicy attribute, AWS CloudFormation deletes the resource by default. To keep a resource when its stack is deleted, specify Retain for that resource. You can use retain for any resource. For example, you can retain a nested stack, S3 bucket, or EC2 instance so that you can continue to use or modify those resources after you delete their stacks. You must use one of the following options: "Delete","Retain","Snapshot" .PARAMETER UpdateReplacePolicy Use the UpdateReplacePolicy attribute to retain or (in some cases) backup the existing physical instance of a resource when it is replaced during a stack update operation. When you initiate a stack update, AWS CloudFormation updates resources based on differences between what you submit and the stack's current template and parameters. If you update a resource property that requires that the resource be replaced, AWS CloudFormation recreates the resource during the update. Recreating the resource generates a new physical ID. AWS CloudFormation creates the replacement resource first, and then changes references from other dependent resources to point to the replacement resource. By default, AWS CloudFormation then deletes the old resource. Using the UpdateReplacePolicy, you can specify that AWS CloudFormation retain or (in some cases) create a snapshot of the old resource. For resources that support snapshots, such as AWS::EC2::Volume, specify Snapshot to have AWS CloudFormation create a snapshot before deleting the old resource instance. You can apply the UpdateReplacePolicy attribute to any resource. UpdateReplacePolicy is only executed if you update a resource property whose update behavior is specified as Replacement, thereby causing AWS CloudFormation to replace the old resource with a new one with a new physical ID. For example, if you update the Engine property of an AWS::RDS::DBInstance resource type, AWS CloudFormation creates a new resource and replaces the current DB instance resource with the new one. The UpdateReplacePolicy attribute would then dictate whether AWS CloudFormation deleted, retained, or created a snapshot of the old DB instance. The update behavior for each property of a resource is specified in the reference topic for that resource in the AWS Resource and Property Types Reference. For more information on resource update behavior, see Update Behaviors of Stack Resources. The UpdateReplacePolicy attribute applies to stack updates you perform directly, as well as stack updates performed using change sets. Note Resources that are retained continue to exist and continue to incur applicable charges until you delete those resources. Snapshots that are created with this policy continue to exist and continue to incur applicable charges until you delete those snapshots. UpdateReplacePolicy retains the old physical resource or snapshot, but removes it from AWS CloudFormation's scope. UpdateReplacePolicy differs from the DeletionPolicy attribute in that it only applies to resources replaced during stack updates. Use DeletionPolicy for resources deleted when a stack is deleted, or when the resource definition itself is deleted from the template as part of a stack update. You must use one of the following options: "Delete","Retain","Snapshot" .PARAMETER DependsOn With the DependsOn attribute you can specify that the creation of a specific resource follows another. When you add a DependsOn attribute to a resource, that resource is created only after the creation of the resource specified in the DependsOn attribute. This parameter takes a string or list of strings representing Logical IDs of resources that must be created prior to this resource being created. .PARAMETER Metadata The Metadata attribute enables you to associate structured data with a resource. By adding a Metadata attribute to a resource, you can add data in JSON or YAML to the resource declaration. In addition, you can use intrinsic functions (such as GetAtt and Ref), parameters, and pseudo parameters within the Metadata attribute to add those interpreted values. This will be returned when describing the resource using AWS CLI. .PARAMETER UpdatePolicy Use the UpdatePolicy attribute to specify how AWS CloudFormation handles updates to the AWS::AutoScaling::AutoScalingGroup resource. AWS CloudFormation invokes one of three update policies depending on the type of change you make or whether a scheduled action is associated with the Auto Scaling group. You must use the "Add-UpdatePolicy" function or the [UpdatePolicy] class here. .PARAMETER Condition Logical ID of the condition that this resource needs to be true in order for this resource to be provisioned. .FUNCTIONALITY Vaporshell #> [OutputType([GameLiftAlias])] [cmdletbinding()] Param( [parameter(Mandatory = $true,Position = 0)] [ValidateLogicalId()] [string] $LogicalId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $Description, [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] [object] $Name, [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] $RoutingStrategy, [parameter()] [DeletionPolicy] $DeletionPolicy, [parameter()] [UpdateReplacePolicy] $UpdateReplacePolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [string[]] $DependsOn, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [VSJson] $Metadata, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [UpdatePolicy] $UpdatePolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [string] $Condition ) Process { $obj = [GameLiftAlias]::new($PSBoundParameters) Write-Debug "$($MyInvocation.MyCommand) PSBoundParameters:`n$($PSBoundParameters | ConvertTo-Json -Depth 20 | Format-Json)" Write-Verbose "Resulting object from $($MyInvocation.MyCommand): `n$($obj.ToJson() | Format-Json)" $obj } } Export-ModuleMember -Function 'New-VSGameLiftAlias' function New-VSGameLiftBuild { <# .SYNOPSIS Adds an AWS::GameLift::Build resource to the template. This value determines the type of fleet resources that you can use for this build. If your game build contains multiple executables, they all must run on the same operating system. If an operating system is not specified when creating a build, Amazon GameLift uses the default value WINDOWS_2012. This value cannot be changed later. Currently, this parameter can have only one string. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-metricgroups UpdateType: Mutable Type: List PrimitiveItemType: String .PARAMETER MinSize The minimum value allowed for the fleet's instance count. When creating a new fleet, GameLift automatically sets this value to "0". After the fleet is active, you can change this value. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-minsize UpdateType: Mutable PrimitiveType: Integer .PARAMETER Name A descriptive label that is associated with a fleet. Fleet names do not need to be unique. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-name UpdateType: Mutable PrimitiveType: String .PARAMETER NewGameSessionProtectionPolicy A game session protection policy to apply to all game sessions hosted on instances in this fleet. When protected, active game sessions cannot be terminated during a scale-down event. If this parameter is not set, instances in this fleet default to no protection. You can change a fleet's protection policy to affect future game sessions on the fleet. You can also set protection for individual game sessions. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-newgamesessionprotectionpolicy UpdateType: Mutable PrimitiveType: String .PARAMETER PeerVpcAwsAccountId A unique identifier for the AWS account with the VPC that you want to peer your Amazon GameLift fleet with. You can find your account ID in the AWS Management Console under account settings. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-peervpcawsaccountid UpdateType: Immutable PrimitiveType: String .PARAMETER PeerVpcId A unique identifier for a VPC with resources to be accessed by your Amazon GameLift fleet. The VPC must be in the same Region as your fleet. To look up a VPC ID, use the VPC Dashboard: https://console.aws.amazon.com/vpc/ in the AWS Management Console. Learn more about VPC peering in VPC Peering with Amazon GameLift Fleets: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/gamelift/latest/developerguide/vpc-peering.html. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-peervpcid UpdateType: Immutable PrimitiveType: String .PARAMETER ResourceCreationLimitPolicy A policy that limits the number of game sessions an individual player can create over a span of time for this fleet. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-resourcecreationlimitpolicy UpdateType: Mutable Type: ResourceCreationLimitPolicy .PARAMETER BuildId A unique identifier for a build to be deployed on the new fleet. If you are deploying the fleet with a custom game build, you must specify this property. The build must have been successfully uploaded to Amazon GameLift and be in a READY status. This fleet setting cannot be changed once the fleet is created. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-buildid UpdateType: Immutable PrimitiveType: String .PARAMETER ScriptId A unique identifier for a Realtime script to be deployed on a new Realtime Servers fleet. The script must have been successfully uploaded to Amazon GameLift. This fleet setting cannot be changed once the fleet is created. Note: It is not currently possible to use the !Ref command to reference a script created with a CloudFormation template for the fleet property ScriptId. Instead, use Fn::GetAtt Script.Arn or Fn::GetAtt Script.Id to retrieve either of these properties as input for ScriptId. Alternatively, enter a ScriptId string manually. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-scriptid UpdateType: Immutable PrimitiveType: String .PARAMETER RuntimeConfiguration Instructions for launching server processes on each instance in the fleet. Server processes run either a custom game build executable or a Realtime script. The runtime configuration defines the server executables or launch script file, launch parameters, and the number of processes to run concurrently on each instance. When creating a fleet, the runtime configuration must have at least one server process configuration; otherwise the request fails with an invalid request exception. This parameter is required unless the parameters ServerLaunchPath and ServerLaunchParameters are defined. Runtime configuration has replaced these parameters, but fleets that use them will continue to work. Documentation: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-fleet.html#cfn-gamelift-fleet-runtimeconfiguration UpdateType: Mutable Type: RuntimeConfiguration .PARAMETER DeletionPolicy With the DeletionPolicy attribute you can preserve or (in some cases) backup a resource when its stack is deleted. You must use the "Add-UpdatePolicy" function or the [UpdatePolicy] class here. .PARAMETER Condition Logical ID of the condition that this resource needs to be true in order for this resource to be provisioned. .FUNCTIONALITY Vaporshell #> [OutputType([GameLiftFleet])] [cmdletbinding()] Param( [parameter(Mandatory = $true,Position = 0)] [ValidateLogicalId()] [string] $LogicalId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] $CertificateConfiguration, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $Description, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $DesiredEC2Instances, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $EC2InboundPermissions, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $EC2InstanceType, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $FleetType, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $InstanceRoleARN, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $Locations, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $MaxSize, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] $MetricGroups, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $MinSize, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $Name, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $NewGameSessionProtectionPolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $PeerVpcAwsAccountId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $PeerVpcId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] $ResourceCreationLimitPolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $BuildId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $ScriptId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] $RuntimeConfiguration, [parameter()] [DeletionPolicy] $DeletionPolicy, [parameter()] [UpdateReplacePolicy] $UpdateReplacePolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [string[]] $DependsOn, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [VSJson] $Metadata, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [UpdatePolicy] $UpdatePolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [string] $Condition ) Process { $obj = [GameLiftFleet]::new($PSBoundParameters) Write-Debug "$($MyInvocation.MyCommand) PSBoundParameters:`n$($PSBoundParameters | ConvertTo-Json -Depth 20 | Format-Json)" Write-Verbose "Resulting object from $($MyInvocation.MyCommand): `n$($obj.ToJson() | Format-Json)" $obj } } Export-ModuleMember -Function 'New-VSGameLiftFleet' function New-VSGameLiftGameServerGroup { <# .SYNOPSIS Adds an AWS::GameLift::GameServerGroup resource to the template. .DESCRIPTION Adds an AWS::GameLift::GameServerGroup resource to the template. .LINK http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-gamelift-gameservergroup.html .PARAMETER LogicalId The logical ID must be alphanumeric (A-Za-z0-9) and unique within the template. You must use the "Add-UpdatePolicy" function or the [UpdatePolicy] class here. .PARAMETER Condition Logical ID of the condition that this resource needs to be true in order for this resource to be provisioned. .FUNCTIONALITY Vaporshell #> [OutputType([GameLiftMatchmakingConfiguration])] [cmdletbinding()] Param( [parameter(Mandatory = $true,Position = 0)] [ValidateLogicalId()] [string] $LogicalId, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $GameProperties, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $GameSessionData, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $Description, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $AcceptanceTimeoutSeconds, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $NotificationTarget, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $CustomEventData, [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] [object] $Name, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $AdditionalPlayerCount, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $BackfillMode, [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] [object] $RequestTimeoutSeconds, [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] [object] $AcceptanceRequired, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [object] $FlexMatchMode, [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] [object] $RuleSetName, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] $GameSessionQueueArns, [TransformTag()] [object] [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] $Tags, [parameter()] [DeletionPolicy] $DeletionPolicy, [parameter()] [UpdateReplacePolicy] $UpdateReplacePolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [string[]] $DependsOn, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [VSJson] $Metadata, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [UpdatePolicy] $UpdatePolicy, [parameter(Mandatory = $false)] [string] $Condition ) Process { $obj = [GameLiftMatchmakingConfiguration]::new($PSBoundParameters) Write-Debug "$($MyInvocation.MyCommand) PSBoundParameters:`n$($PSBoundParameters | ConvertTo-Json -Depth 20 | Format-Json)" Write-Verbose "Resulting object from $($MyInvocation.MyCommand): `n$($obj.ToJson() | Format-Json)" $obj } } Export-ModuleMember -Function 'New-VSGameLiftMatchmakingConfiguration' function New-VSGameLiftMatchmakingRuleSet { <# .SYNOPSIS Adds an AWS::GameLift::MatchmakingRuleSet resource to the template.
