about_IISConfigAttribute SHORT DESCRIPTION DSC Resource that defines a configuration entry in an IIS config. LONG DESCRIPTION DSC Resource that defines a configuration entry in an IIS config. Each attribute must be defined separately, even if on the same config path. # Settings ## SectionPath - Type: String - Mandatory: True - Key: True The main section path under which the configuration can be found. Example: 'system.applicationHost/sites' ## Site - Type: String - Mandatory: False - Key: True The site to which the setting applies. If not specified, the attribute will be applied to the server default settings. > Note: Sections under 'system.applicationHost' ignore the Site setting, other than those under 'system.applicationHost/sites'. ## Path - Type: String - Mandatory: False - Key: True Relative sub-path under the section specified. Each path-segment separated by a slash. Example: 'siteDefaults/logFiles' ## AttributeName - Type: String - Mandatory: True - Key: True The name of the attribute to update. Example: directory ## AttributeValue - Type: String - Mandatory: True - Key: False The value to assign to the attribute. Must be provided as a legal JSON string, that will first be converted with 'ConvertFrom-Json' Example: "E:\Logs" ## Ensure - Type: String | [Present|Absent] - Mandatory: False - Key: False Whether the attribute should be present or not. Parameter not really implemented. |
